Thank you for viewing our Web site! If you are unable to locate what you need from our Web site, please contact our office. We designed this Web site to serve many needs, and continue to add and update information. We take pride in being the “go to” office and I encourage you to peruse our site to have a better understanding of all the tasks we do for area businesses and residents. The Knox County Chamber of Commerce is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization and serves as a vehicle through which the business and professional community are organized to work together to define and solve community and economic development issues as well as network and support each other. The Chamber of Commerce facilitates pooling these resources to provide business on its own. The Chamber of Commerce also initiates collaborations among municipalities, businesses and the community-at-large.

Because economic success depends upon the health and prosperity of the community, the Chamber is actively engaged in quality of life and advocacy issues and business promotion and as such is charged with performing tasks and rendering service that benefit all citizens.

The Chamber’s membership represent large and small businesses including; retail, service, home-based, manufacturing, individual investors, public service, education and organizations. Chamber members are referred hundreds of times each year. As the community’s search engine, tourists, residents and other businesses look first to the Chamber of Commerce for everything from local maps to commercial development.

No one group or individual member could do all that Chambers of Commerce do.

Check our Web site often. I know you will enjoy the opportunities to Live, Work, and Play in Knox County. It’s an amazing community!
