Jill McCartney
Executive Director
Jill brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in organizational management, strategic planning, community engagement, and partnership development. Most recently, she served as Director of Athletics, Fitness and Recreation at Kenyon College, where she led department-wide strategic initiatives, developed collaborative community programs, and strengthened partnerships across Knox County.
A resident of Gambier and current member of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce Board, McCartney has long been engaged in community and civic leadership throughout the region. Her experience includes service on the Village Planning & Zoning Committee in Gambier, the Knox County Local Food Council, Women United of Knox County, and other nonprofit and community organizations.
Throughout her career, McCartney has focused on helping organizations translate vision into measurable outcomes while building strong, sustainable partnerships. In addition to her leadership in higher education, she has worked as a consultant supporting nonprofit and mission-driven organizations in strategic planning, operational improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
McCartney also previously served on the Crete Chamber of Commerce Board and the LB840 Economic Development Committee in Nebraska, where she contributed to initiatives supporting local business growth, community development, and downtown revitalization.
McCartney holds a Ph.D. in Education with a concentration in Leadership in Higher Education from Capella University, a master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Arizona, and a bachelor’s degree with honors in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Stephanie Blanchard
Programs and Social Media Coordinator
Stephanie Blanchard is a seasoned marketing professional with over 20 years of experience, including an impressive tenure at Park National Bank. Her expertise spans marketing, advertising, graphic design, social media communications, event planning, fundraising, and digital marketing—with four years focused specifically on digital marketing strategy and analytics.
She holds an Associate's Degree in Digital Media Arts from North Central State College in Mansfield and has earned multiple certifications, including Google Ads - Measurement, Google My Business, Google Analytics, and the Foundations of Digital Marketing and E-Commerce.
She has also been very active in the community over her career, including involvement with the United Way of Richland County, Buckeye Imagination Children's Museum, Habitat of Humanity of Richland County, United Way of Richland County Power of the Purse Committee, United Way of Richland County Big Red Book Shelf Committee, and various community events for the organization's she worked for over the years as well.
Stephanie lives in Danville, Ohio, with her husband Nick and their two children, Grayson and Madelyn.
