Parent advocate Jami Ingledue will be the keynote speaker at the annual meeting of NAMI Knox Licking County Ohio.
Ingledue will speak to "Parenting Through the Darkness: A Teenager's Struggle with Mental Illness". Ingledue is a local author, blogger, and community advocate. Many of her blogs can be found at the Wild Word website and others.
In addition to a lovely dinner, the evening will also include a message from Siera Hayes who will speak out openly about what it's like to live with a mental illness; and the presentation of the annual Franklin Miller, Jr. Volunteer of the Year Award and the Jerry Townsend Make a Difference Award.
