Every year GCP’s Commission on Economic Inclusion hosts an annual conference to focus on best-practices in the field of diversity and inclusion. A year ago, the Commission on Economic Inclusion brought Harvard professor Mahzarin Banaji to Cleveland. She effectively demonstrated how even the most well-intentioned people unwittingly allow unconscious thoughts and feelings to influence apparently objective decisions. This year, at the Commission’s ninth annual Inclusion Conference on August 24th, four experts will continue that conversation with a deeper dive into the concept of bias, specifically as it relates to attracting and selecting top talent for your organization.
