    Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
     
    Knox Public Health in rural Mount Vernon Ohio, is expanding behavioral health services in our Federally Qualified Community Health Center and is currently seeking a Licensed Independent Social Worker/Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor to join our team of professionals. Our Community Health Center is a primary care health clinic that provides medical care, counseling services, substance abuse treatment and oral healthcare within Knox County.
     
    The responsibilities of this position will include but not be limited to: provide comprehensive diagnostic mental health assessments, intervention, education, referrals and consultations for individuals, families, couples, and groups in the primary care setting.  
                            
    Requirements of this position: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university majoring in a field of study related to Social Work; with two (2) years of directly related experience and current State of Ohio LISW/LPCC licensure required.  Supervisory experience preferred. Individual needs to possess ability to work autonomously, with interpersonal relationship building skills, excellent communication skills, computer technology skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a culturally diverse group of people.
                                                        
    This position is regular, full-time 40 hours per week, usually in eight (8) hour shifts, subject to a rotating, or flexible day-time shift schedule; may work additional hours, evenings, and/or weekends as required.
