Knox County Transit is seeking both Full-Time and Part-Time Drivers to join their team! Our drivers transport community members safely, courteously, and in a timely manner while following navigation directions from GPS. Successful candidates will be those who thrive in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to handle last-minute changes, can use multiple pieces of technology, all while providing excellent customer service. 

Drivers are required to operate wheelchair lifts and tie downs; ensure safety of bus and passengers by enforcing rules of conduct and operation; perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify damaged or defective equipment and clean the vehicle. Transit driving can be both physically and mentally demanding. 

The successful candidate must pass a background check, drivers abstract, ODOT physical and drug screen.
