2022 Protecting Older Ohioans Forum: Responding to Financial Exploitation, Scams and Fraud in Facility Settings.
The Ohio Attorney General’s Elder Abuse Commission is virtually presenting the 2022 Protecting Older Ohioans Forum, Responding to Financial Exploitation, Scams, and Fraud in Facility Settings, on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. via the WebEx online platform.
This forum is for older adults and their family and friends to will learn what to do when financial wrongdoing is suspected or has occurred while living in a facility such as a nursing home or assisted living. Our expert presenters will discuss what steps you can take to protect yourself, including learning the warning signs of financial exploitation, expand public awareness to the extent of the problem and how to report financial exploitation to your local and state authorities so they can respond and take action.
